Roll Machining Technologies & Solutions – Sales Engineer

We’re continuing to grow and have a need for a results-oriented Sales Engineer to keep up with our constant expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Primary job duty is to identify growth opportunities and secure business from existing as well as new customers via phone, email, onsite visits and tradeshows; also includes:
- Demonstrating products and services to existing / potential customers and assisting with selecting those best suited to their needs by providing solutions to their manufacturing process.
- Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; create solutions.
- Work with Inside Sales and Engineering to develop quotes and documentation.
- Supporting Independent Reps with their needs.
- Preparing and attending Trade Shows.
- Frequent weekday overnight travel will be required (occasional weekend may be required). Onsite office is in Romeoville, IL. Worldwide sales territory.
- Provide timely, profitable, winning responses to RFQ’s.
- Establish and maintain long term business relationships with Customers at all levels, specifically decision makers.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical and technical aptitude, formal education is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge and understanding of Tube / Pipe & Roll Forming Industry is a HUGE plus but not required as we will train the right, willing to learn candidate.
- 5 years of Manufacturing Sales experience preferred.
