The people who make RMTS what it is!
Joe Olson:
CEO and founder of Roll Machining Technologies & Solutions with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Joe first started in the tube and pipe business in 1963 while working at Allied Tube and Conduit. Over the next 12 years Joe learned a variety of hands on experience of the tube and pipe business by taking on many different roles within Allied Tube until his departure in 1975. At that time he was one of Allied’s superintendents overseeing six of their tube and pipe mills. For the next six years, Joe worked as Sales Engineer at Lemont Engineering, (currently Thermatoool – Lemont) where he became versed in the business aspect of tube and pipe tooling. After his six years with Allied he went to work for Atlas Pipe Mills in Canada until 1985, when decided to start Chicago Roll company. Joe made CRC a 20 million dollar per year tooling and tube mill builder until he decided to sell it in 1999. Joe is also accredited with being a past president of the American Tube Association and he is presently on the Board of Directors of the International Tube Association.

Mark Olson: Vice President of Operations. His background includes a degree from Western Illinois University. His expertise includes project management, costing, engineering, purchasing, computer programming, and management. Mark has previous experience with several computer companies and did his tube and pipe internship at several tube and pipe mill manufactures.
Bob Manos:
President- RMTS has a degree
in Bachelor of Science in
Economics from Indiana
University (1980). Bob’s
work history includes 7
years with Turek & Heller
Machine as a Sales Engineer.
In 1988 Bob joined Chicago
Roll as their first
salesman. As the company
grew, he became the Sales
and Service Manager, then
Vice President –Sales and
Service. He was in charge of
Sales for 8 years while
developing a staff of highly
experienced tube mill and
roll form professionals. In
2002, Bob joined RMTS as
Vice President. Bob is
currently serving on the
Board of Directors of the
TPA and a Member of the Tube
and Pipe Producers Council
for the TPA. He has
presented many technical
papers at conferences
worldwide.

Ken
Doyle: V.P. of
Engineering.
Ken joined the R.M.T.S. team
in October of 2004. He has
over thirty-five years of
experience in the tube,
pipe, and roll form
industry. Ken has experience
in roll design, equipment
design, system development,
and management. Throughout
his career, he has worked
with producers of carbon and
stainless tube, and many
roll formed products to
improve production
performance and troubleshoot
problems.

Jon Berk:
Jon
Berk has joined R.M.T.S.
with 30 years experience in
purchasing, customer
service, marketing and
sales. After graduating from
Northern Illinois University
with a bachelor degree in
Marketing, he has spent time
in the industrial
transportation industry with
the majority of time in the
metals industry. Jon comes
to us having sat on both
sides of the desk which
gives him a unique
perspective. He has opened
new sales territories and
expanded existing sales
territories. Jon will help
with any questions,
concerns, or problems you
might have and will not stop
until you are satisfied and
the situation is resolved.

Emeka Oniah:
Emeka Oniah has been in
Sales and Marketing for over
20 years, with particular
penchant for fostering great
customer relationships and
business development. A
transplant to Northwest
Indiana from Nigeria via the
UK where he attended St.
Edwards School, Oxford, and
then University of
Buckingham in
Buckinghamshire. He is very
active in the community, a
past Rotary President, Board
Member of the Boys and Girls
Club, and Housing Authority.
He is married with 3
Children.

Mike
Pickell: VP of
Manufacturing.
Mike
has
24 yrs machining exp, TMA certified
machinist (completed 4
yr program). 10 yrs as
tool and die maker and
mold maker for rubber
and plastic injection
multi cavity molds.
Past 11 yrs in the
production of tube and
pipe and rollform
tooling.

Daniel Bortoni,
is known as the most
knowledgeable person in
Mexico regarding tube, pipe
mills, slitters, training
programs, and installations.
His experience started as an
industrial engineer at Hysla,
a major private steel mill
in Mexico, His extensive
knowledge includes Steel
processing equipment,
precision levelers,
slitting, cut to length
lines as well as tooling for
these lines. Tube producing
equipment, tube &, pipe
mills and major components
shear welders, accumulators
upgrade to mills, electrics
(motors & drives), cutoff
presses, non destructive
testing equipment (eddy
current, ut, flux, etc) in
line coating, packaging
equipment, service and
tooling for tube and pipe
mills (rolls, impeders,
induction coils, cut off
jaws & blades, etc. Mr. Bortoni welcomes the great
reputation and
aggressiveness of RMTS and
expects a long lasting
relationship with the goal
to make RMTS the major
supplier of tube, pipe, roll
form, and slitter tooling.
